Registration deadline has passed!
We are very happy to announce the 1 602 teams from 62 nations that registered to participate in this year’s Gothia Cup.
A new nation this year is Kongo, that with help from the sponsor Ydemer will be able to enter a B14 team from Gothia Cup’s own football school in Brazzaville. This will be a great adventure for the kids as they’ve hardly been out of their home villages. -It will be an experience that becomes a tale for them to tell their friends and family when they go back home to Kongo- says the responsible for the football school.

Opening Ceremony – an evening to remember
Monday july 13th, before 50 000 espectators at Nya Ullevi, we will welcome the Gothia Cup’s participants with an espectacular show. An evening of expectations, laughs and feelings becomes one. More than 500 dancers, chorus and solo artists invite to celebration. Agnes Carlsson whom broke through after winning the swedish version of TV show ”idol” in 2005, will be one of the solo artists performing this evening.
Only one club has the honour of representing their country at the marching into the stadium at the opening ceremony. Perhaps you are interested? We would like your team to present your country in a way that the audience easily relates to the nation. It can be typical clothes, hats, colours or any other distinguishing feature.
