Play-offs
The longer the week goes, and if you are still in the tournament, the closer you get to the grand final. All teams play some form of play-offs. The two best in each group go to the A play-offs, the others to the B play-offs.
After a whole week of matches it is finally time for the finals. At Gothia Cup everyone is a winner, but of the 1,900 teams competing, only 14 can call themselves champions.
The Finals Day is the obvious conclusion to a week filled with great football, lots of people, nerves and emotions. For a few, the dream comes true and they can raise the trophy in front of packed stands.
Practical
At Gamla Ullevi you get in free with your Gothia Card. If you do not have a Gothia Card, you can buy a ticket on Ticketmaster or at the ticket office at Gamla Ullevi. The box office is cashless.

Bags are completely banned at Gamla Ullevi. All bags will be checked.

The crowd
Many of the teams that do not reach the final come to watch the final in their own age category. It gives a sense of how you stack up against the competition, and it is also a nice ending to the team's Gothia Cup adventure.
