Clear victory for Nigerian Eagles in the B16 Final

It was a high-energy final at Gamla Ullevi on Saturday afternoon as Maryland Bobcats FC from the USA faced off against Nigerian Eagles in the B16 final. The Nigerian victory was convincing—both in performance and result.

One player stood out from the start, namely Shamsu Mustapha. Less than nine minutes into the match, he scored the opening goal, giving Nigerian Eagles a dream start. The team continued to dominate play, and before halftime, Mustapha doubled the lead with his second goal of the day.
– I’m so happy right now. I’ve prayed for this for a long time, and to see it come true means everything, said Shamsu Mustapha, the team’s MVP.

In the second half, Nigeria maintained control. Maryland Bobcats tried to find a way back into the game but never truly came close. In the 40th minute, Mubarak Adisa sealed the victory with a 3–0 goal – definitively securing the gold for Nigerian Eagles.
– This is a big dream, and I’m so grateful to experience it, said Shamsu Mustapha after the final whistle, still surrounded by cheering teammates.
