Gothia Cup

Coach Bizoo's first time at Gothia Cup

- It's Gothia Cup, you can't forget Gothia Cup.

Coach Bizoo is here for the first time as a coach for Magnet Youth Sports Academy who participate in the B17-category.

The Tanzanian team, Magnet Youth Sport Academy, travelled around 7600 km from the Tanzanian capital Dar el Salam to Gothenburg to be a part of this year’s Gothia Cup.
– it's the first time as my coach, but I learned a lot from the other teams who originates in Sweden, Italy and Germany. I hope to come back, and then I want to win the tournament, Bizoo say.

There are three teams from Tanzania in this year’s Gothia Cup. However, the B17 team is the only team from the Magnet Youth Sports Academy. Bizoo explains the Pitches are good and the management team have done a great job to arrange a tournament.

The Tanzanian team advanced to the A playoffs but went out on penalties against Örby IS/Söder United in the round of 16. Bizoo are now aiming to come back next year and go all the way to the final.
– I can't forget it because it's my first time to be here and I'm so excited to come back. It's a good achievement to be here and participate in the tournament. It's Gothia cup, you can’t forget Gothia cup, he explains.

With a positive experience Bizoo will now travel home to Tanzania in hopes that he can come her again.
– We loved the city, food and city. The Swedish people are so kind and we felt very welcomed, he finished.
