Dream Ending for Icelandic FH 1 in the B14 Final

A late decision led FH 1 to victory with 1-0 against Imperial Future, marking a dream ending to the Gothia Cup. – It feels fantastic. I've dreamed of this since I was five years old, says the match's MVP Víkingur Hrafn Þórhallsson.

The final in B14 featured a close and exciting showdown between Spanish Imperial Future and Icelandic FH 1. Both teams created goal opportunities throughout the match and defended well, which kept the scoreline goalless for most of the final. The match remained alive all the way to the last minutes before the decisive moment came.

It wasn't until the 47th minute that the only goal of the final arrived. With just a few minutes left of regular time, FH 1 managed to break the deadlock and take a 1-0 lead. The goal proved to be crucial and secured the gold for the Icelandic team.

After the match, Víkingur Hrafn Þórhallsson was named the MVP of the match. He described the victory as a dream come true.
– It feels fantastic. I have dreamed of this since I was five years old, says Víkingur Hrafn Þórhallsson.

He also highlighted the team's performance throughout the tournament and the opposition in the final.
– It has been a fantastic week. We have a very good team. It was a good final against a very strong opponent, but we handled it well, he says.

The victory means that FH 1 leaves this year's Gothia Cup as champions in B14 after a final where patience and a late decision became the key to gold.
