Goal galore in the final at SKF Arena

Minerva Academy FC won the Boys 14B final against CEF 18 Tucumán with a score of 4–0 on finals day. SKF Arena was full of fans and great energy. – Everyone gave one hundred percent and that was the key to our win, says Konthoujam Yohenba Singh.

Finals day at SKF Arena brought a loud crowd and an even start between Minerva Academy FC from India and CEF 18 Tucumán from Argentina. Both teams took turns with the ball and created chances going forward.
– It feels amazing to be the best in such a big tournament, says match MVP Konthoujam Yohenba Singh.

In the middle of the first half, Minerva took the lead with a long shot that rolled past the goalkeeper. Soon after, they created more good chances, but the first half ended 1–0.
– We played really well as a team and followed our game plan all the way, says Konthoujam Yohenba Singh.

In the second half, Minerva took control. Three quick goals helped them pull away to 4–0. The crowd was cheering loudly as the final whistle blew and Minerva Academy were clear winners.
– We gave everything we had, and it really paid off, says Konthoujam Yohenba Singh.
