Our new social media hosts for the crew account
We’re excited to welcome Mahdi Albu-Daraj and Serena Sahlin as the new social media hosts for Gothia Cup’s official crew account!
With a smile on their faces, Mahdi Albu-Daraj and Serena Sahlin will follow the daily lives of the crew and give a glimpse behind the scenes of the world’s largest youth football tournament. Through photos and videos, followers will get to experience the community, energy, and dedication behind the work for Gothia Cup.
– I’ll be visiting crew members all around Gothenburg and giving followers an insight into how their work is done. I’m super excited, says Serena.
From early mornings in school cafeterias to the high intensity out on the fields, Mahdi and Serena will be there to capture and showcase what makes working as part of the crew both meaningful and fun.
– I’m really looking forward to meeting all the people working with the tournament. There’s a special atmosphere and so many great things about Gothia Cup that I want to highlight. When most people think about the tournament, they think of football and football players. But at the same time, it’s the crew who make everything possible. From cleaners to field hosts and school hosts, there are so many roles, and I’m excited to highlight them, their joy, and celebrate their hard work, says Mahdi Albu-Daraj.
