Only 100 days to go until Gothia Cup 2026

The countdown has officially begun – in just 100 days, Gothenburg will once again transform into a global meeting place for youth football.

Every summer, Gothia Cup brings together around 2,000 teams from all over the world. This year is no exception – around 2,000 teams from 80 nations have registered for this summer’s tournament, making it the world’s largest youth football tournament. Over 4,500 matches are played on more than 100 pitches across the city, creating an atmosphere unlike anything else.

For one unforgettable week, Gothenburg is filled with passion, friendship and cultural exchange. Young players from all over the world meet, compete and create memories that last a lifetime – both on and off the pitch.

From the opening ceremony at Ullevi to finals played in front of packed stands, Gothia Cup is more than just football – it is a global celebration of youth, unity and the love of the game.
