Popular Right to Dream: "The fans give us motivation"

Right to Dream won their first game in front of a big crowd.

Right to Dream from Ghana defeated the Swedish side IFK Norrköping in the B17 category, called Gothia Puma Trophy, in their first game. The players were very pleased after the 3-1 victory at SKF Arena.

Right to Dream played really well in the first half and scored three beautiful goals. The SKF Arena was full and the spectators loved the quality goals. The talented team from Ghana had a 3-0 lead at the break. IFK Norrköping scored one goal in the second half but Right to Dream won the game and now they have every reason to dream about success.
– The first game was really good. We got a good result and a great start in the tournament. I think that we can develop during the tournament. This game was about getting the three points, so we're happy, says the captain Zidan Ben after the final whistle.

He loved to play in front of a big crowd.
– It’s nice. The fans give us motivation and they make us play better football.
This is the second time he is participating in the Gothia Cup.
– We like it. People from different cultures and countries come here to play. The best things with the Gothia Cup are the fans, the crowd, the noice and the motivation you get. We’re happy to be here.
He believes in himself and the team.
– I think that I can score goals and create assists this week. And of course I think that we can go far in the tournament, says Zidan Ben.
