Rainbow tie back for the third year in a row

For the third year in a row, Gothia Cup, in collaboration with Sonepar, is distributing a rainbow-colored captain's armband to all teams participating in the tournament. – We show that together we stand up for diversity, inclusion, and human rights," says Thomas Andersson, Sales Manager at Gothia Cup.

Gothia Cup, in collaboration with Sonepar, aims to combat prejudice and increase equality, both on and off the field. An important part of this equality work is the rainbow-colored captain's armband that is distributed to all teams participating in the tournament.

The captain's armband is worn by the team captains during the tournament to encourage all participants and spectators to engage in the work for equality.

In addition to the captain's armband, Sonepar supports eight teams with 10,000 SEK each to enable them to participate in Gothia Cup.
