Sporting Supreme dominated the final
Final day at Gamla Ullevi concluded with the B18 final – and Sporting Supreme took the crown. The Nigerian side defeated Varbergs BoIS 4–0 to claim the title. - Tonight we’re going to celebrate so loudly that all of Sweden hears us, said two-goal hero Ahmed Njundu Kanyi.

Under the blazing sun at Gamla Ullevi, it was Sporting Supreme who struck first in the B18 final. Ebrima Manneh hit a screamer, leaving the Varberg keeper with no chance. During the celebration, he paid tribute to the recently deceased footballer Diogo Jota. The Sporting Supreme dominance continued, and in the 26th minute, they produced another wonder goal – this time from Ahmed Njundu Kanyi – giving them a 2–0 lead at the break.
The Nigerians kept dazzling the crowd in the second half. Their flair and quality meant Varberg never even got close. Instead, Sporting Supreme and Ahmed Njundu Kanyi delivered yet another stunner. They kept pushing forward and didn’t stop until the scoreline read 4–0. Sporting Supreme won the final match of the day and are now champions of the B18 category.

Ahmed Njundu Kanyi netted two brilliant goals. Is this something he does often, or a one-off?
- I usually score a few nice goals, he said with a laugh.
-But seriously, it’s a great feeling to be able to do it in such an important match like this. I’m proud and happy, he added.
