The unbeaten Hammarby IF wins the G11-Category

After winning all their matches, Hammarby IF also triumphed in the final. With a 5-1 victory against Djurgårdens IF, they took home the firstplace.

In the first match of the day at Heden 5, it was the final in the G11 category between Djurgårdens IF and Hammarby IF. A final Hammarby won 5-1.
–I think everyone deserved to be player of the match, says Celine Aslan.

After several goal chances from both teams, it was still 0-0 after ten minutes. This was until the twelfth minute when number 17, Celine Aslan, made it 1-0 for Hammarby IF. They then extended their lead to 2-0 through number 15, Moa Karlsson.
–I think the match went well. I think we played well. We deserved to win, says Celine Aslan, who was also named MVP.

Hammarby's captain, Dayun Song, made it 3-0 after she dribbled past the defence from the wing and shot the ball into the goal. At halftime, it was still 3-0. Early in the second half, Djurgården set a high tempo and came close to scoring. Seven minutes into the second half, Hammarby made it 4-0, this time it was number 17, Celine, again with a beautiful long shot to the far post. Not long after, they extended their lead to 5-0.
–I think everyone deserved to be player of the match, but it feels good to have received the award, says Celine.

Hammarby finally won the final 5-1 and was the first team on Heden 5 to lift the gold trophy.
–The best thing about this week is that we have won and that we will now get to celebrate together, she concludes.
