A Record-Breaking Gothia Cup Awaits
Gothia Cup 2026 is bigger than ever. Teams are currently arriving in full force. Over the next week, 1,956 teams from 78 countries will be playing on fields throughout Greater Gothenburg, staying in schools and hotels, and experiencing a lifetime adventure.
– There are 45,300 players and leaders here. It's certainly exciting that we are breaking records. Above all, it is encouraging that we are doing this in a time of global uncertainty, economic downturns, and conflicts. Teams and participants show that they prioritize important experiences, a journey that stays with them for life, by coming to Gothenburg, says Niclas Freiholtz, General Secretary of Gothia Cup.
