New fields and expanded areas for Gothia Cup 2025
Ahead of this year's edition of the Gothia Cup, we are excited to announce several new developments. This summer's tournament will take place on a record 114 fields across the Gothenburg area. To accommodate the increasing number of participants, we are expanding to new municipalities and adding more fields.

The new fields are strategically chosen to improve logistics and be closer to the teams' accommodations, making the tournament experience smoother for everyone.
Among this year's new fields are:
Djupedals IP (Mölnlycke) – 2 fields
Stenkullen IP (Lerum) – 3 fields
Lindevi IP (Lindome) – 3 fields
Klarebergsvallen (Kärra) – 3 fields
Hovgårdsvallen (Hisingen) – 2 fields
Eklandavallen (Mölndal) – 1 field
Furulunds IP (Partille) – 1 field
We are also thrilled to welcome back some classic venues making a comeback in this year’s tournament:
Välens IP (Frölunda) – 1 field (returning for the first time since 2017)
Slottskogsvallen (Centrum) – 1 field (returning for the first time since 2023)
Gröna Vallen (Centrum) – 1 field (returning for the first time since 2022)
ÖIS-Gården (Centrum) – 1 field (returning for the first time since 2022)
Another major development this year is the expansion of Gothia Cup to more municipalities. For the first time, matches will be played in Härryda municipality and Lerum municipality, broadening the geographical reach of the tournament and making it more accessible for participants and spectators alike. Matches will also continue to be played in Gothenburg, Mölndal, Kungsbacka and Partille as in previous years.
With more fields, improved logistics, and new playing areas closer to the accommodations, we are looking forward to a summer filled with football, community spirit, and international encounters. Welcome to Gothia Cup 2025!
