Cerezo Osaka won the G17 Elite final

Cerezo Osaka defeated NorCal Premier PDP at Gamla Ullevi.

Cerezo Osaka emerged victorious in the G17 Elite final with a 1-0 win against NorCal Premier PDP at Gamla Ullevi Arena.
– It feels great to have won, said player Hinako Kinoshita.

Both teams had a strong start. It took just under two minutes for Cerezo Osaka's number 7, Konoha Nakamura, to score the 1-0 goal. The Japanese team's footwork was outstanding. Despite this, NorCal Premier created several opportunities to score but were defeated in the first half.

In the second half, we saw two strong teams striving for victory. Cerezo Osaka's defenders were busy clearing the ball from the penalty area as NorCal pushed for an equalizer. The evenly matched game made it impossible to predict if Cerezo Osaka would secure the win until the end. Several excellent finishes created a magical atmosphere in the arena. Ultimately, NorCal had to accept defeat. Cerezo Osaka won 1-0.
– I'm very happy, it feels so good, said Hinako Kinoshita after the win.

After the awards ceremony, Hinako Kinoshita received the coveted Most Valuable Player award for her performance in the final. The team plans to celebrate their Gothia Cup 2024 victory in a big way.
– We're going to celebrate all night with a party, said Hinako Kinoshita.
