First Match Day of Gothia Cup 2024

Gothia Cup is Finally Underway.

On Monday morning, the Gothia Cup was in full swing. At Kviberg 9B, 10.30 a.m., B11 Prep Schools Pumas Green played against FC Deren.

B11 Prep Schools Pumas Green and FC Deren met on a very rainy Kviberg field, but despite the weather, everyone was in high spirits. The match ended 7-1 to Prep Schools Pumas Green. They are pleased with their performance and see it as a good start to the week.

B11 Prep Schools Pumas Green are particularly excited about the match against the German team Blau-Weiss 96 Schenefeld 2 on Wednesday, but first, they have a match against Swedish GAIS on Tuesday. 
– We're excited by just any match really, says Maxim Vascenko.

After the match, the players went to where they are staying to warm up and get ready for the opening ceremony, which will take place at Ullevi on Monday evening. It's something the players are very much looking forward to.
