Gothia Cup

Gothia Cup presents Mathem as new Official Partner

Mathem is now an Official Partner for Gothia Cup.

Mathem becomes a new Official Partner for Gothia Cup. The parties have agreed on a collaboration with a focus on contributing to the global health goal.

The e-commerce company wants to promote that children move and activate parents in the children's physical lives. Gothia Cup's director of sales, Thomas Anderson, is very pleased with this partnership.
– We can proudly present Mathem, Sweden's leading online grocery store, as a new Official Partner to the Gothia Cup family. Mathem focuses on the global health goal and also wants to enable parents to spend more time with their children instead of spending time on time-consuming shopping. This investment by Mathem is completely in line with our focus on good health and well-being, says Thomas Anderson.

Mathem believes that entering into a partnership agreement with Gothia Cup was an easy decision.
– It's very nice that we started a partnership. We landed quite quickly in the decision that it was Gothia Cup we would enter into a partnership with. Football is one of Sweden's biggest popular movements and Gothia Cup's work, values, goals and joy go hand in hand with what we stand for at Mathem, says Linda Brockman, Head of Brand at Mathem.

She explains why Mathem and Gothia Cup are a "perfect match".
– Mathem facilitates the everyday life of Sweden's families with children so that the parents can spend time on what is important, such as an active lifestyle and cheering on their children's football matches. Our and Gothia Cup's joint focus on health and sustainability makes this partnership a perfect match.

They hope this partnership will help more families spend more time doing nice things with their children.
– For example, cheering on their football matches or moving more together with them, and in this way contribute to improved health for both children and adults. A simple way to achieve that is, of course, according to us at Mathem, to shop in a faster and more flexible way and thus have more freedom to live, she says.

Mathem's sustainability strategy is based on the UN's global sustainability goals, and the goal of health is an important part for them. Therefore, it was natural that they and Gothia Cup chose it as a common goal to work towards.
– We want to help create less stress in everyday life, above all to be able to have more time for the children and other activities. We also want to highlight that you have access to a wide range of good food, drinks and pharmacy goods - all the nutrition and energy a family needs to always be at their best. It should be easy to make good choices, says Linda Brockman.
