Group winners NorCal Premier PDP ready for the semifinal

After being in the final the last five times NorCal Premier PDP are back again.

NorCal Premier PDP have been successful in the Gothia Cup for several years. The last five times they participated, they reached the final each time. In 2017 and 2022, they even took the gold back home to the USA.

This year, Nicole Kim is back for her second time participating in the tournament.
– I’m looking forward to meeting and playing against teams from all over the world, and the atmosphere with the crowd in the arenas is electric, it’s fantastic, Nicole Kim explains.

NorCal Premier PDP play in the Gothia PUMA Trophy where Swedish top clubs compete against specially invited teams from around the world in a prestigious tournament for 17-year-olds.
– Coming back after winning previously is motivating. We have something to play for and we will try to achieve that, she continues.

This year they won all their group stage matches and are now in the semi-final where they face BK Häcken.
– The Gothia Cup is a very unique experience, you should enjoy the crowd but also remember to play your game.
