Dream goal paved the way for IK Uppsala Fotboll

They won the G18 category.

IK Uppsala Fotboll wins the title in the G18 category after defeating Norwegian Sogndal FK in the final with 3-1.
- It feels incredibly good, it's an amazing feeling, says Agnes Ahlsson.

The first half was eventful. IK Uppsala exploded out of the starting blocks and took the lead after just two minutes. Sogndal quickly equalized before Uppsala regained the lead with a fantastic free-kick from Agnes Ahlsson. Just before halftime, Uppsala extended their lead to 3-1 with a header from Stina Leffler.
- When I got the free kick, I thought, let's do this, and it went in. It was an amazing feeling, says Agnes Ahlsson, who was named the MVP of the final.

Uppsala remained dominant in the second half and had most of the best chances. Sogndal had a ball in the net, but the goal was disallowed due to a foul in the same play. After the disallowed goal, Sogndal never really came close, and the match ended 3-1 to Uppsala.
- We are so good and handle every situation excellently. Everyone from the goalkeeper to the forwards in this team did great throughout the match, says Agnes Ahlsson.

The victory means that IK Uppsala Fotboll are the champions in the G18 category.
- This is the greatest thing I have experienced as a football player. For a youth player, Gothia Cup is the biggest thing you can win, says Agnes Ahlsson
