Madrid Panthers advance to the semifinals

The Spanish team defeated IK Uppsala 1-0.

On a sunny day at Heden, Madrid Panthers, belonging to the G16 category, secured a spot in the semifinals after a 1-0 victory against a strong IK Uppsala.
- It was an interesting match. We played well and made sure to defend really well. Now we are going home to rest up before the semifinal, says Daniela Pindado Rivilla, the team's goalkeeper.

Football can vary quite a lot in terms of tactics and style of play in different parts of the world. When Daniela was asked if she noticed any difference between playing against teams at home in Spain compared to Swedish teams, she responded:
- Yes, there is definitely a difference. I have played in Gothia Cup twice and noticed that Swedish teams are very physical and have a lot of energy, whereas at home in Spain we play a bit more technically, she continues.

Madrid Panthers will face Throttur FC in a semifinal match at Bravida Arena on Friday evening.
