Norrmejerier new Official Partner to Gothia Cup

We're pleased to be able to present Norrmejerier as a new Official Partner to Gothia Cup.

Gothia Cup steps up even further when Norrmejerier steps into Gothia Cup's partner family. Together, the parties work to achieve the global goal of combating climate change.

Norrmejerier is the country's northernmost dairy company and is owned by dairy farmers in northern Sweden. The goal is to create good conditions for viable milk production in Norrland as an important part of Sweden's food supply. Norrmejerier offers fresh and unique Northern Swedish dairy products of excellent quality. Always 100 percent Swedish. With taste experience, passion and well-being in focus, Norrmejerier wants to make it easy to eat well while it is good for you and our earth. Northern Swedish milk leaves a smaller footprint on nature and contributes to increased biological diversity.

Now Gothia Cup and Norrmejerier have started a collaboration.
– This is a new and exciting partnership. Among other things, we take a common starting point in the global sustainability goal number 13; fight climate change. The healthy Northern Swedish nature and climate give us unique conditions and Northern Swedish milk quite naturally has a lower climate footprint. The fact that we can participate and contribute to the folk festival and important investment in children and young people like Gothia Cup is completely in line with Norrmejerier's ambition to share Northern Sweden's great taste experiences with consumers throughout the country, says Maria Skogelid, category manager for dairy at Norrmejerier.

Gothia Cup sales manager Thomas Anderson is equally pleased with the partnership.
– Norrmejerier, which is now presented as Official Partner to the Gothia Cup, is a fantastically welcome addition to the world's largest football tournament for children and young people. We are incredibly happy to have them on the train and look forward to creating a Northern Swedish experience that is good on all levels, says Thomas Anderson.

Norrmejerier will have materials on site in schools where the teams live during Gothia Cup, where they will display their products and spread their message. In addition to that, an exciting activation at Heden is also planned this summer.
