Panthera FC showed their class in the end
After a close first half, Panthera FC from England pulled away and won the G14 final against Icelandic side Breidablik with a clear 6–1 at SKF Arena. – We kept pushing and won in the end, says MVP Megan Meehan.

It was a fast-paced start when Panthera FC from England faced Icelandic side Breidablik in the G14 final.
The goals came early as both teams began the final at SKF Arena with attacking intent. Within just a few minutes, both sides had scored, making it 1–1. The match opened at a high tempo, with chances at both ends and two teams eager to go forward.
– After the first half it felt good because we were still winning, we kept fighting and won in the end, says MVP Megan Meehan.
After the cooling break, Panthera FC took control again. The English team went ahead 2–1 with a well-placed finish after a well-built attack down the right side.
– It was really tough, the other team were really good, but we kept going all the way. Everyone worked hard and gave a strong performance, she says.
In the second half, there was no doubt. Panthera FC took full control, and when Betsy Hind made it 3–1, the English team took a clear step towards the gold. The goals kept coming, and in the 48th minute, Olivia Woolfson sealed the final score at 6–1 – the final nail in the coffin.
– It means everything to us, because every girl in the world dreams of playing in this tournament – and we’ve just won it, says a smiling Megan Meehan.
