Picks of the Day – Wednesday

Every day we will showcase a few extra interesting games. Here is our selection for Wednesday!

Mexican team Intercups are coming off two victories and have played really well in this years Gothia Cups B14 class. Åsa IF have drawn twice so far and need to win this one.

09.50, Heden 4 – Puma: CCL Soccer Club (US) – Chesterfield FC (GB), G17 (group 6).
It's a cross-Atlantic match-up! Both teams have six points and a goal difference of plus seven, so the winner of this game wins the group.

13.00, Kviberg 5: Lerums IS (SE) – This Girl Kicks (GB), G18 (group 4).
This Girl Kicks is a British initiative meant to foster friendship for teenage girls through football. In Gothia Cup though they have demolished their opponents so far. A goal difference of 12–0 after two games tells us this is an attacking side. Lerum IS are in second place though and with a win would pass This Girl Kicks in the table – and win the group. In other words, this is it, for both teams.

15.10, Valhalla IP: GIF Sundsvall (SE) – Montrouge FC 92 (FR), B17E (group 3).
Montrouge FC 92 played excellent football in their first game against Elfsborg – which they won by a 3–1 score. Yesterday they played a draw against C.F. Internacional Monterrey from Mexico. In their final group game they play group leaders GIF Sundsvall.

15.30, Guldheden Södra: Hossmo BK (SE) – The Kusasa Stars (ZA), G14B (group 1).
Group final where neither team can afford to lose. Both teams have four points. If third-placed Norrby should win their game they will have five points. Both teams are aware of the stakes and are likely to go for the win!
