Sporting Lagos from Nigeria are the champions of the B17E category

They defeated FC Tokyo in front of over 9,000 spectators at Gamla Ullevi.

In front of approximately 9,000 spectators at Gamla Ullevi, Sporting Lagos from Nigeria defeated the Japanese team FC Tokyo. This means they are the champions in the B17E category.

Sporting Lagos started the match strongest. In the ninth minute, they broke through FC Tokyo's defense, and Yusuf Abdullahi slotted in a shot beyond the reach of the Japanese goalkeeper. Ten minutes later, the Nigerians extended their lead. Babatunde Akomolede launched a rocket from outside the penalty area that soared into the top right corner of the net. By halftime, Sporting Lagos had a clear advantage.
- I just tried to use the opportunity I had, and it turned out I used it well, says Babatunde Akomolede about his goal.

In the second half, Sporting Lagos continued to be creative in attack and solid in defense. In the 55th minute, they sealed the game when Lucky John pounced and tapped in a rebound. Sporting Lagos extended their lead once more, and the final score was set at 4-0.

The win meant that they are the champions of the B17E category.
