Break the period stigma together with Libresse
The menstrual cycle is a natural part of life, but unfortunately, it is still a topic surrounded by taboos. Libresse is present at Heden to break the stigma and raise awareness. – We are here to spread knowledge and joy about menstruation, says Annie Jonsson from Libresse.

– It feels good that they are here; it hasn't been something we've talked about so openly before. So it feels good that it's becoming a little less embarrassing and that it's not something you should hide, says Tova Blackedal, who is about to get a temporary tattoo with a menstruation motif.

Did you know that many young girls stop exercising because of their period? We want to change that! Together, Libresse and Gothia Cup aim to destigmatize and normalize menstruation. During the week, Libresse will be present at Heden to inform and raise awareness about menstruation and how it affects young female athletes.
– Menstruation is nothing to be ashamed of. It's something beautiful and natural that happens to everyone, says Annie Jonsson.
There will be fun games, competitions, and period-themed temporary tattoos on site. Libresse will also distribute kits with various types of pads and panty liners to every team consisting of girls.
– We want every team to be prepared and have menstrual products in their team bag. It should be just as natural as bringing along band-aids or ice packs, says Annie Jonsson.
