Gothia Cup

The activities at CF Gothia in Brazzaville are up and running again

In March our sport school in Congo-Brazzaville had to close due to the corona pandemic outbreak but during the summer they were able to open up again. In these uncertain times, the activities at the sports center offer the children a sense of normality and joyfulness.

When CF Gothia reopened in July, they started with the social activities but now the sports classes are also up and running. They have adjusted their practices to try to keep social distance even during the classes and many leaders and children wear face masks at the school.

In July, this year’s new team captains have been educated in the schools guiding stars and how to be a good leader.

The activities and facilities offer the children a safe place to enjoy with their friends and to stay healthy during these difficult times. During the social activities, the leaders have focused a lot on discussing hygiene issues and how to minimize the risk to get infected, with covid 19 and other infectious diseases.
