AFC Eskilstuna are the champions of the B17 category

They defeated Swindon Town FITC in the final at Gamla Ullevi.

AFC Eskilstuna are the winners of the B17 category. In the final, they defeated English side Swindon Town FITC with 2-0.

AFC Eskilstuna started strong at Gamla Ullevi. In the twelfth minute of the match, they opened the scoring. The team's Musab Omar drove inward and beautifully placed the 1-0 goal into the goalkeeper's left top corner. After the goal, the match evened out, but the score remained the same going into the halftime break.
– It meant everything to have the lead going into halftime, says Lucas Malmberg, who was named the player of the match.

The second half had barely begun before AFC Eskilstuna extended their lead to 2-0. This time, it was Eskilstuna's number 11, Ian Kimana, who made it into the score sheet with a distinct finish. Swindon pushed for a reduction, but Eskilstuna's goalkeeper, Casper Hedblom, made several saves to keep a clean sheet. The match ended 2-0, and AFC Eskilstuna are champions in the B17 category.
– The early goal was perfect, just as we had planned. Then the goalkeeper made some great saves, and I'm incredibly happy for him that he performed so well, says Lucas Malmberg.

The final victory means that AFC Eskilstuna becomes champions in the same category they won in 2022.
– We have fought so hard through everything, and finally, we get something we deserve, says Lucas Malmberg.
