Right to Dream started Gothia Cup with a 5–0 win
The popular Ghanaian academy Right to Dream got a flying start in Gothia Cup 2023.
In front of thousands in the stands at SKF Arena, they defeated the Swedish team Landskrona BoIS with 5–0 in their first game in the tournament.
Right to Dream won the B17E category Puma Trophy last year. Today, they were back in action in Gothia Cup. They got a great start to the game against Landskrona BoIS. They scored three goals in the first half. The talented striker Prince Amoako scored two of the goals. In the second half, they added two goals and won by the margin of five goals.
They created a lot of chances and played entertaining football, as they use to do. And the spectators loves it. The players from Ghana also showed a lot of joy when they celebrated their goals.
– We are happy with our start in Gothia Cup. We played a good game and we really like the crowd here, says the player Nene.
Tomorrow at 17.50, Right to Dream play against the Norwegian team Fredrikstad Fotballklubb at SKF Arena.
