Team Odense Q are through to the Round of 16

Tonight they will celebrate in their own way.

The Danish Team Odense Q G15 team has advanced to the round of 16 in the Gothia Cup after defeating Storfors AIK 9-0 in their round of 32 match. - We deserved to win, says Hanna Hoeg, a player for the Danish team.

Team Odense Q is one of only four Danish teams participating in the Gothia Cup 2024. So far in the tournament, they have been strong.
- Our performances in the tournament so far have been absolutely fantastic, and it feels really good, says Hanna Hoeg.

After the convincing win in the round of 32, they have the evening off before tomorrow's round of 16 match. The girls know how they will celebrate.
- We will celebrate with candy and music. Of course, we shouldn't eat too much candy, but we have to allow ourselves to celebrate, says Mikkeline Madsen, one of the team's players.

Good team cohesion is a prerequisite for good results in the Gothia Cup, something the girls from Team Odense Q seem to have.
- It is important that everyone is happy all the time and feels that we are doing this together, and I think we absolutely have that, says Hanna Hoeg.

After tonight's candy celebration, the Danes need to get back on track and prepare for the next match.
- We will go to bed early, eat healthy food, and take it easy to recharge, says Hanna Hoeg.

Mikkeline Madsen adds:
- We have a masseuse who has come with us to Gothenburg, so I am hoping for a massage tonight, she says.

The Danes' round of 16 match will be played on Friday, when they face the American team Iconz Elite at Gothia Park Academy 4 at 12:30 PM.
