The Gothia Special Olympics Trophy finals are ahead
After three intense days, the finals of the Gothia Special Olympics Trophy await on Thursday. On Wednesday afternoon, Latvia played its final group game against Germany and won 3–1.
Elvis Burkevičs is one of eight players representing Latvia in Gothia Special Olympics Trophy. It is his first time being here.
– The best thing about being here is meeting friends and I am trying my best to score goals.
Unfortunately for Burkevičs, he did not score any goals against Germany, however his team won with 3–1. Tomorrow, they will face Germany once again, as they play for third place.
– I hope we win. It will be tough but we will try our best.
