During Friday evening Swedish Women’s National Team manager Peter Gerhardsson visited SKF Arena. As a player he was part of the Uppsala IF team that won the tournament in its second edition back in 1976. 43 years have passed since then, but the reason being here remains the same – to enjoy the game of football.

What did you do when you were eight years old? Diyan Ramos is selling bracelets so children in Lebanon can play football. ”I saw the movie Pelé and in the movie there was a lot of poor children that couldn’t play football so I felt that I wanted to help children play”, he says.

For Lisa Löwing there’s never been weird playing with the boys’ team. They’re her friends and she’s one in the gang. For five years she have been part of the Torslanda IK team that plays in this year’s Boys 15 category. “It’s a lot of fun, but challenging. The tempo is higher than when you play with the girls”, she says.
