What did you do when you were eight years old? Diyan Ramos is selling bracelets so children in Lebanon can play football. ”I saw the movie Pelé and in the movie there was a lot of poor children that couldn’t play football so I felt that I wanted to help children play”, he says.
The winners of the third edition of Gothia eCup was in Gothenburg today to collect their trophies and, of course, play some FIFA in the tent at Heden. ”I work hard and my goal is to next year be able to play FIFA full time”, says William Berg.
Gothia Cup is proud to announce that Team Odense Q (G15 and G18) are the winners of this year’s “most outstanding outfit” price during the opening ceremony.
On Friday four teams received the award Fair Play Trophy. The teams has showed extra good behavior and acted in an exemplary manner against both opponents and judges and other officials.

The girls in SKF Canada have comfortably gone through to the semi-final, beating their southern neighbours NSA from the US. “Canadians and Americans are very competitive so it felt good to beat them”, says Isabel, one of the players.
For Lisa Löwing there’s never been weird playing with the boys’ team. They’re her friends and she’s one in the gang. For five years she have been part of the Torslanda IK team that plays in this year’s Boys 15 category. “It’s a lot of fun, but challenging. The tempo is higher than when you play with the girls”, she says.
This is it. It is time for semifinals in the invitational tournament Gothia Puma Trophy (B17 and G17). Who will advance for the big final?
Everybody wants to be involved in the game, but sometimes you need to take a step back and let the kids play. This year Celebrate the Game is focusing on the parent’s role before, during and after the game.
Guernsey is a small island in the English Channel. With around 60 000 inhabitants. Each year five schools on the island assemble their biggest talents. Who then goes on tour in the UK, plays their neighbouring island Jersey who’s their biggest rival, and finally goes here. To Gothia Cup.
